Bridget Jones Diary: The Edge of Reason- Helen Fielding

I won this from a First Reads Goodreads Giveaway. When I won this I was excited because I love Bridget Jones. I was disappointed with it, for sure. I had a hard time getting through this book, I mean I had to stop for breaks a lot. I know that real life is messy and so hard to find a happily ever after but I loved Mr. Darcy! Come on, after all the trouble to be with him and he dies. I felt myself being annoyed by her friends a lot and another reason it was hard for me to be sucked in by the story. Maybe the writing style is why I prefer the movies. In my opinion, she should have stopped at book two!
