My Monday Musing- Books Purchased for my Mom!

I received some half price books coupons in the mail. Today, I went hoping to find any of, The Walk series, by Richard Paul Evans. I was So excited to find 3 of them!
  
  Now- I work at a Library. I had a patron come in and ask me about The Walk series. I gave her a blank face and asked, umm, do you know the author? She had no idea! Can you imagine how many books have "walk" in the title! So she said she would get the authors name and come back. Two hours later, I had a patron return items and what do you know?! She returned, The Walk by Richard Paul Evans. I was intrigued and decided to check it out. She said that it was a great read and that a lot of people were talking about it in book clubs.

    I LOVED the book. The whole entire series is amazing. I love how inspiring it could be and there were so many quotes of wisdom. It was a great series and I tore through them, quickly. 

    My mom has recently found time to start reading and has been borrowing books from me. She lives 3 hours away, so it's not easy. She hates our home library because it takes months to get a book. So I decided a couple months ago to buy her the series for Christmas.

  I was so stoked to find 3 of them tonight! The 4th one, I'll buy tomorrow. I hate that you can only use your coupon on one item! My husband hates coupon week because then he knows what we are doing every night. HAHA!
