I won this from a goodreads, first reads giveaway. Receiving this book for free has not influenced my opinions. I had never reAd a book by this author, so I wasn't sure what I was getting into. At first, I didn't know how I likes the writing style. This book is very British and so you have to adjust to the language. After. Few chapters, I really caught on and became interested. I really enjoyed this. It was cute and funny. It goes through a lot of ups and downs with Anna and James. He bullied her in school and it had a horrible impact on her life, as to be expected. So I wasn't sure how she was going to get past that to end up with him. I like the way the author really had her put it all out there and stick to her guns. She didn't accept his first apology, second, and so on. She really made him work for it. Her sister and friend Michelle were a nice addition. Michelle made me laugh out loud a few times. I was surprised at how funny this book could be at times. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and will consider reading more from this author! |
